The aging and agetech conference landscape has changed in the past 2 years, with the emergence of online and hybrid events. Which events should be on your calendar for 2022?

February

Kicking off 2022 is a pitch event – 10 agetech startups focused on innovative solutions to address the unmet needs of older adults and their caregivers, will pitch on Techstars Future of Longevity’s Demo Day! This event is happening on February 17, sign up here.

March

Rehab Tech Summit “The Neuro Edition” starts on March 4th. This event’s goal is to share knowledge with therapists on innovative technology companies that are making an impact in healthcare and demonstrate that there is a role for rehab in healthtech. Organizers hope to empower and encourage rehabilitation professionals to adopt health technology in their practice and lean into non-traditional roles – be it as a super-user, an inventor, or a designer. Later in March (23-24), we’ve got one of the biggest agetech events of the year – CABHI’s annual summit.

The CABHI Summit 2022 explores innovation and investment in longevity – and the ways in which agetech is helping older adults and caregivers make choices that are right for their own aging journeys. April is also the time for the largest multidisciplinary conference on aging in the U.S. – the American Society on Aging’s “On Aging” annual event.  The theme for this year’s in-person event i Advancing Economic Security. It be hosted in New Orleans in April 11-14, and will include keynotes, general sessions, workshops and special vvents aligned to ASA’s 5 Priority Areas, and across several thematic tracks: Justice & equity, innovation & social impact, health & well-being, economic security and agism and culture.
